Regarding SanStone, Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation .
As I stated in my last entry, here is where you can file a complaint if you suspect that someone is or has been in a nursing home has been mistreated.
The first step is to file a complaint with the Ombudsmans office, dont expect that to get you anywhere. They seem to be relatively close to the owners of these facilities. When I spoke to the Terry Collins at the Land of the Sky Regional Council in Asheville, she seemed to think there were plenty of things wrong. However they could not help me. Next there is the NCDHSR, you can file a complaint with them at Nursing Home and Health Care Complaint Line (For hospitals, group homes, and other health care facilities): 1-800-624-3004 or you can file online at :http://www.ncdhhs.gov/dhsr/ciu/filecomplaint.html
Just to give you a heads up, they arent really that intrested in finding out the truth either. If you file a complaint with them, expect an original contact, then maybe two months later you will get the response. I am posting a link to the patients bill of rights. If you complain, use the terminology they do. They rarely find any substantiated complaints.
