Dr. Larry Joe Russell, Family Medical Center, 510 Balsam Rd., Hendersonville North Carolina. I wish I had been fortunate enough to never have heard that name or the name, Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation.
Both of these conjure up images of death and suffering.
I have seen so many death certificates signed by Dr. Larry Joe Russell, that I wonder how he sleeps at night. I guess, if he actually ever saw the patients faces, things might be a little different in the Russell bedroom at night.
I know for a fact that Dr. Larry Joe Russell supposedly sees patients at Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation, The Laurels, Lake Pointe Landing ,The Brian Center, BeyStone, Carolina Village, Universal Health Care, Pine Park by Emeritus, Golden Living Center, Mountain Home Health and Rehabilitation, Margaret Pardee Hospital, and his own practice, Family Medical Center, 510 Balsam Rd., Hendersonville, NC.
If in fact he was actually seeing all the patients he is billing for, he would have to be working at least 24 hours a day. I would love to get a look at his billing records, just to count the number of patients he supposedly sees in one day.
I have seen the results of having Dr Larry Joe Russell as your doctor. It seems to have a negative effect on life expectancy. If you go to the vital records room at the Henderson County NC Courthouse, you can see for yourself. Just look at the deaths from last year. There is no doubt in my mind that Dr. Russell holds some kind of record for number of death certificates signed in one year. I would also venture a guess, that if you are one of Dr. Russell's patients ( victims )  the leading cause of death would be " failure to thrive".
I understand all too well that "older people die", I've been told that so many times I can't even count. I actually read on a form recently, that acute coronary arrhythmia, is a common way to die if you are in your seventies. This according to Dr. Larry Joe Russell and Dr. Hal Poston at Pardee Hospital! Even if you have no history of heart disease?
My Mother mattered, she mattered to my three sisters, my brother and myself, and all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving caring woman, and did not deserve the horror of Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation. Dr. Larry Joe Russell was not worthy of being in the presence of such a wonderful person!
Well I hope Dr. Russell is enjoying spending all the money he is making of off the death his elderly patients.Sooner or later one of the spirits will find a way to make him regret his lack of compassion!

Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation, SanStone, Dr. Larry Joe Russell, Chris Sprenger, Michael Deloach, Paul Shogren.
I have made the comment in the past, that if animal control were to take over the licensing and regulation of nursing homes, the world would be a better place.
Please don't take this the wrong way, I have nothing against animals, we have a family dog. I do have a problem with the NCDHHS going into nursing homes, and ignoring the obvious problems. Letting the helpless senior citizens suffer at the hands of these greedy heartless individuals.
I saw on WLOS channel 13, in Asheville, where a man tied his horse to a cinder block. After some time animal services stepped in and took the horse, which eventually died of malnutrition. The owner of the horse was sentenced to eighteen months in jail.
I have over fifty death certificates, signed by Dr. Larry Joe Russell, at least thirty percent, listing failure to thrive as cause of death. No fines for Larry Joe, no prison time either. If any of the deceased were horses, he would be in jail, where he belongs. Old people die! Especially the ones that have Dr. Larry Joe Russell as their doctor.
Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation is the last place many of our elderly see. It looks real pretty from the outside, but go inside after dark, and the horror begins.
I bet when animal control comes to see if you are taking care of your pets, they don't call ahead. They try to catch you, and hold you accountable. NCDHHS, should take a lesson from animal control. Do their job, and show up unannounced. They would sure find plenty wrong. People would go to jail, and things would get better.
Isn't it a shame that animals get more attention, than our elderly. I have read many reports of people getting abused, and losing their lives because of things that happen in nursing homes. I have seen where the home was fined a couple of thousand dollars, because their neglect cost someone their life.
Wake up NCDHHS, do your job, and let our elderly live their lives with dignity and respect!!!!!
